About Daiahn
Daiahn is building the enterprise operating system for AI. We help organizations deploy, govern, measure, and scale AI agents across their business through enterprise-grade infrastructure and embedded AI engineering.
As we grow, we're looking for experienced Forward Deployed Engineers who can embed with enterprise clients, lead AI implementations, and operate AI Agent Pods that solve real business problems.
The opportunity
This is a client-facing consulting role for experienced engineers who thrive at the intersection of technology, business strategy, and artificial intelligence.
As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you will serve as Daiahn's technical lead within enterprise engagements — working directly with executive stakeholders, IT teams, and business leaders to design, deploy, and continuously optimize AI Agent Pods.
This is not a traditional software engineering role. You'll function as a trusted advisor, solution architect, implementation lead, and AI operator, ensuring customers achieve measurable business outcomes.
Enterprise client delivery
- Lead AI implementation engagements from discovery through production deployment.
- Partner with executive stakeholders to identify high-value AI opportunities.
- Translate business requirements into scalable AI workflows.
- Serve as the primary technical point of contact throughout client engagements.
Operate AI Agent Pods
- Deploy and manage enterprise AI Agent Pods.
- Configure agent workflows, orchestration, integrations, and memory.
- Monitor agent performance, utilization, quality, and business outcomes.
- Continuously optimize deployed solutions based on customer feedback and operational data.
Technical implementation
- Integrate AI agents with enterprise applications, APIs, databases, CRMs, ERPs, and cloud platforms.
- Configure secure enterprise AI environments.
- Collaborate with Daiahn's product and engineering teams on new capabilities.
- Troubleshoot technical issues across infrastructure, integrations, and AI systems.
Executive engagement
- Facilitate workshops with executives and business leaders.
- Deliver technical demonstrations and strategic recommendations.
- Present implementation roadmaps and business results.
- Build trusted relationships across customer organizations.
Required qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in Solutions Engineering, Technical Consulting, Software Engineering, Customer Engineering, or Forward Deployed Engineering.
- Proven experience working directly with enterprise customers.
- Excellent communication and executive presentation skills.
- Experience leading complex technology implementations.
- Strong understanding of APIs, cloud platforms, integrations, and enterprise software architecture.
- Working knowledge of generative AI, LLMs, or intelligent automation.
- Experience working with two or more of the following: Claude Code, Codex, Grok Build, Antigravity, Kimi Code, Cursor.
- Experience with professional team-oriented agile software development processes.
- Ability to independently manage client relationships and multiple concurrent engagements.
Preferred experience
- Python
- JavaScript or TypeScript
- LangGraph, LangChain, CrewAI, AutoGen, or similar frameworks
- OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, or open-source LLMs
- MCP (Model Context Protocol)
- Docker or Kubernetes
- AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Enterprise security and identity management
- Data engineering or analytics platforms
The ideal candidate
We're looking for someone who can comfortably move between the boardroom and the command line. You enjoy working directly with customers, solving ambiguous business challenges, deploying production AI systems, and taking ownership from strategy through execution.
Experience at organizations such as Palantir, Accenture, Deloitte, Slalom, Thoughtworks, AWS, Microsoft, Google Cloud, Databricks, Snowflake, OpenAI, Anthropic, or enterprise SaaS consulting firms is highly valued.
This role can be fully remote within the US, or hybrid out of our Syracuse or Rochester, NY offices — whichever suits you.
Engagement details
- Structured as a 1099 contract, part-time, or full-time — whichever fits you best.
- Remote within the United States, or hybrid from our Syracuse or Rochester, NY offices.
- Approximately 30–40 hours per week based on client demand.
- 25–40% travel for customer workshops, implementations, and executive meetings — travel reimbursed at cost.
- Opportunity to support multiple enterprise accounts simultaneously.
- Extensions and expanded engagements available based on performance.
- Performance bonus tied to successful client deployment milestones or customer expansion opportunities.
